they are just a rough estimate as far as renault is concerned but they do seem pretty accurate. i average about 35mpg in my cup but it does get a fair bit of boot.
is the release cable/handle free? eg-not stuck and holding the catch open slightly so not allowing it to lock in place when you shut the bonnet. have you lubricated the catch mechanism?
my oval tailpipe sits bang up to the bumper on my cup. from the pics ive seen the twin tailpipes hang lower than the oval tailpipe. do a search as there have been plenty of pictures of the magnex posted.

when i was down at hillpower once he mentioned something about renault cams. not sure if there supposed to be group n but there definatly renault cams from some series the clio is used in. he did say the inlet cam was near enough the same but the exhaust cam is quite different. any ideas?

sounds like the retaining circlip has popped out of the diff or a driveshaft has collasped. have a visual look at the shafts and if they look ok remove the n/s driveshaft. if you look in the hole for the n/s driveshaft in the gearbox you can see the diff. you will probably find that a large...
its the water causing the pads/discs to surface rust and makes the pads stick to the discs. they will release as you pull away but you will notice it. no solution from renault as far as i know.
if its a 65bhp one then there is no intercooler so any leak would have to be from a turbo pipe. if its a 80bhp one then the intercooler will be at the front near the radiator.
