ive got an industrial trolley jack which has a large foot with a rubber pad. i use the factory jacking points mostly. you be better to keep a cheap trolley jack in the car and a bit of wood. just use the original jacking points and the wood will protect it (put it between the car and the jack foot)
did you make a note of the letters displayed on the screen whilst the panel was in test mode. when in test scroll through the screens (there will only be 3) and one screen will have the fault codes on it. this letter/s can be translated to tell you what information the instrument panel lost...
apart from base models all later clios without auto wipers have this adjustable intermittant and the wiper speed kick down when you pull up at junctions etc.
