How many passes are you doing at suggested speeds?
If you spend to long working it before stepping up the speed and pressure the diminishing abrasive will already have started to break down to a finer abrasive loosing the level of cut it may be capable of
I only really use the slower speeds...
Just used the new formula, more of a drying aid. Weather was lightly drizzling, quick towel dry leaving it slightly damp. Misting the panel with reload and buff around and off with 2 MF's so not expecting it to be performing its best.
Ive always thought initial water behaviour of reload and...
Something I've found with the sonax products is that they seem to be able to bead and sheet regardless of how much dirt or dust is on the panel. Something that will have a strong influence over the majority of other LSP's
this does look impressive initially, until you realise that it's shedding...
I presumed you were talking about the menzerna polish compounds bundle?

If you're considering their pads as well, as tally says ignore the pads and I'd suggest chemical guys Hexlogic
Still sticking with DA or something to use with rotary?
The AF finishing compound was nice, Scholl S30 worked well on the ST although the rest of the range take a bit of getting used to compared to the average compound. I can't remember which of the menzerna finishing polishes I liked since...
It will have meant orbits not revolutions as it's specifically a DA backing plate
Placed a £125 order with elitecarcare late Wednesday night so qualified for free delivery. 9am Thursday I get an email saying order processed and DPD will delivery Friday. Friday all delivered 10minutes into the...
It's not RPM, but orbits per minute. Quite different. Also see how different they are in shape and material
I've always liked the 3m copies by flexipads, never needed anything bigger than 125mm dia though

I personally wouldn't recommend using a DA backing plate with a rotary. The backing plate can make a huge difference to the feel and performance in my oppinion.

i4detailing is the most reliable retailer I've used, but most will offer next day service if you pay for it to guarantee Friday.
15% off this weekend if you spend over£50 with i4d
I've got the incredimitt but contemplating the carpro mitt with my next order.
The incredimitt has been pretty good, is very easy to clean and maintain, but its also pretty good at letting the dirt and debris sink into the fibres away from the surface
Very similar as above, apart from I leave them to soak in very shallow water for a few minutes first, just deep enough so it doesn't get to the backing velcro
Not ordered from them for a while, always try and find another supplier these days as their processing of orders can still be a little hit and miss.
I have a basket of items that I keep rolling over till I'm desperate. What you ordering???
Number 2 pad and compound via DA pro worked great on Audi paint as a great single stage, didn't really need to step up to the coarser combo. Plus it refined pretty well
Polish is irrelevant of colour as you're working on the clear coat.
Id suggest reading the stickier threads at the top of this section on machine polishing as you should use the mildest combination required to get the required level of removal of swirls and marring
