Very Nice :)
As far as power look into new exhuast system with or without decat, induction kit, these are ya basics, then move on up to inlet match. With a remap this should push you around the 185-190 region, then look towards cams for 200.
Lots of forum users will help ya, speak to the...
Well me and Nik (wazza16valver) thought we do a little tiday up on the cars. Pic's are a bit poo...damm shakey hands. First pics of mine since I put it in a ditch last december :p
All you lucky people going tomorrow will see it in all its glory :)
Then Jamesy from here decided...
Some people say that the covers twist off, personally I havent tried. But the dash is a 10min job. Torx screws, 2 either side, 3 on top, remove stearing colum cover (2 screws and 1 right at the bottom), onces thats off 2 behind that under the dials, and pull the whole dash forward, and take off...
Well I doubt you'll get 190 from that, your talking induction, full sports exhuast + decat, inlet mods and remap for around 185bhp
Best view is the 4-2-1 maini is alot better.
Some more ppl will jump in the thread and advise better.
Looking nice an d mint.
As per Silvervisions, mine where fully fledged Philips but I get the same effect. They might be the older style Silvervisions, as I saw a set that are silver ontop, white band in the middle and the bottom half silver.
Not too hard. Take off drivers side bottom trim pannel and top dash. You should see how the cable feeds, its clipped in on the loom in the drivers well. Unclip and gentley feed it back.
Anyone else find with their 172 that a fill up can never get more than 45 odd litres. thought it was a 50 ltr tank. Pump normally starts clicking around 42ltrs :/
Mines great, fuel gauge reads off the scale, and trip says still got 50miles left. Got 60miles out of the light, but that was on fumes, as I coasterd down a hill to find it bone dry. Quick phone call to the sis, and a jimmy can later, back on the road :p
Quick links to the vis, for the numpties who can't fine em :p
Can't wait to see this at BBPT RR day on the 5th :p

If anyones interested, I got one of these for sale! Its the center console air vents clip with a holder for a dell axim51v! Fits my Mk2 Ph1, dunno if it differs for Ph2's.
Feathering the throttle around 3.5k is fine. Yeah when 4k and above is the "boom". In fairness I love the look but would love a note a little above standard. Can this be achived by adding silencers??
Well did close to a 400mile round trip and got the Pro-Speed fitted. I am pleased with it, but its a bit loud. I can cruise at 70mph Ok, but town driving is doing my head in a bit. Any suggestions, I dont want to have to make the trip again but if I have to. I have a BMC fitted, would taking...
Lol J, now that is slaming :o
I take it the splitter is going, and as nik said make sure you got the C spanner for BBPT cos that aint going up the ramp :p
Nice mate, I gave Charlie a ring today to see if I can book mine in. I think you lot were still there....lol
You get the standard Cliosport deal.....lol. Apparently this is everyone's favourite and soon to be mine :p
Yeah defo fidley, had it done when had the cambelt done. Need some special kind of tool to pull one of the pulley down. It has to fit in this tiny hole. Been told when Renault do it, they just have the front bumper off, and drill this hole bigger so they can get a socket or something in there...
So has anyone been able to fit 6.5" components in the front of a Mk2 Ph1?? Just wondering if I got fit them in the standard pods with a bit of modifying :)
Well after searching around got some Blue Vision HB3, H7 and sidelights coming, and also some SilverVisions. In total £53 off ebay, postage was like 99p :)
