Sports CAT will have less cells per sq inch (i think thats how its measured). I have a 200cell (per sq in) in my Cupra and it made a hell of a difference to the car and is MOT freindly too. Happy days :)
Tbh as long as the ebay versions actual filter is 'ok', meaning that it will flow enough air but also filter it well then i'm sure it'll fine. But testing that may be hard work. Not sure if you Renault guys have any airflow measuring software but on my Cupra i can use my laptop to log air flow...
Liking the sound of the Simota, but owning a turbo car i know all to well the importance of low intake temps. Anyone have any sound clips/vids of other available kits?
Steer clear, to do it properly you need to draw a vacuum in the system for around 30mins i beleive before actually filling with gas. Our local place charge £50 to re gas so not too bad.
I did wonder if it was an un used bracket they were referring to. If that is the case i'll have to look under there and try and work out why the exhaust has dropped then.
Thanks for that mate, at least now i know theres only supposed to be two mounts :). Garage said they can see that it looks like a bracket is missing causing the exhaust to drop and stress out the flexi joiner. I'm guessing the rear mount must still be in place as the exhaust would be bouncing...
I need a pic of the underneath of a 2001 Clio 1.4 16v. Strange i know, but a girl i'm seeing's exhaust has dropped down a bit causing it to blow on the flexi joiner bit according to a local garage (havnt had a chance to get under ther eand have a look myself yet). They say she has a bracket or...
