Obviously i'm taking the piss marcus. Saw some pgti review of itbs and gdi the other day in my friends mag. Your name was mentioned although I did not see your ugly face.
My dad has just bought a new home cinema setup. Kinda picked parts up over the last couple of days as we couldn't fit everything in the boot at the same time.
The bundle consists of:
Samsung 42" plasma tv model PS42C7HD
LG Dvd player & surround sound
Glass stand
First impressions are...
fast and tuneable are not associated with a 197.
For the love of god don't change your 225 for one.
However the interior and handling are supposed to be good on them.
Re: RR results for 1*2s
I read about a 172 cup in Feb 07 edition of PGTI today that had cat cams, itbs, exhaust etc done at GDI. Big 2-3 page feature on GDI again in the mag. It made 227bhp and 171lb.ft I beleive on mass's r/r.
Re: RR results for 1*2s
Carl's (lucky) was 222bhp to start with and at FCS he was telling me he had it rolling roaded again at 218bhp but I remember him saying his engine was using a lot of oil. Not sure how its running now. Don't really see him on anymore.
There is a thread on this where...
Saw 3 clio's today around Halfords on the retail park in Telford.
1) A silver 182, parked in between halfords and B&Q.
2) A black 182 which looked like it had maybe been lowered, with anthracite 182 wheels and a private reg of some sort. Mike B x or something. This was parked right outside...
Re: RR results for 1*2s
Please note - I no longer have my old itb'd car. TheJesus (jon) now has it. The results above are what I got when I had it. It may be running less/more power now. I think I can remember the torque figures too. With itbs it was around 178lb.ft.
From viper, s/s exhaust, de-cat, cams, manifold match and remap I made 195bhp. Can't remember the torque.
With s/s exhaust, de-cat, cams, omex, jenvey itbs it made 218bhp
My cup is std bar an itg panel filter. I had my cup rolling roaded and it made 174bhp where other standard(ish) 172's...
Yea thats the fuel rail guard, remove it if you wish but its there as edde says above in the case you do have a crash. The standard airbox is quite bulky.
What is the idea behind this? To see how much room can be gained to fit a different engine?
Plastic engine cover can be removed lol...
take advice from this man.
just save mega hard and you'll have a wicked motor when your 20-21 and be able to afford your own insurance for it.
Modding cars is the biggest waste of money but it's your money so do what you want. I'm just speaking from my experience and have kicked myself from...
17 years old...insurance being a problem...are you going to tell them about the mods you make to the 1.2?...if so then your likely to be paying a pretty high premium still which is back to your original problem...price of insurance!
Nice looking motor.
I remember having a little blast against one of these down the motorway once when I picked up my 200sx. It looked a "special edition" or had probably been tuned as it had some kind of stickers on the bodywork, not sure what they were. Anyone know? It was a grey colour 350z...
