Sounds like bots in that case. Whatever site/forum your using isn't filtering them properly so it's relatively easy for them to register. Most websites/forum will use something like CAPTCHA or ask you to answer a question which "normally" is sufficient to filter out the real humans from the bots.

Sounds like you've messed up the DNS settings. What DNS entries do have entered in TCP/IP settings.
