I think the majority here say 172 all the way! But most of you are going on like I have my mind firmly set on a conversion which is just no so. Especially after this thread thats simply not the case. Thanks for all the help thou.

I am aiming towards a 172 conversion now. By the time I have saved, I will have 2 years no claims and will be a year older, so well see. Need to research a bit more at the mo.

Thanks for the suggestion Yin, but Im with jongsr4 on this one. I have had a very helpful PM off John who has done a 172 conversion, onyl thing for me is labour cost (Im no mechanic!), insurance and transporting the engine. God dam! LOL!
