Do any of you guys know of any useful sites for performance figures, such as 0-60 etc and insurance groups?

Personally Id go for the back of EVO mag for those sorts of figures but they aint got info on the Starlet.

Hmm, looking at those figures the Starlet is the same more or less to 60 as a 172??

Tempting. A few mods and they should be seeing of 172s with no probs?

Tends to be the other way round. Imported cars can be more expensive to repair since its more difficult and expensive to get parts. Insurance cost is made up of risk of the model of car (eg. performance and security), the cost of repairing, and of course then the risk of the driver.

Heres the site for the UK insurance industry group ratings ... http://www.abi.org.uk/carinsurance/help.aspclicky ... but being a type G import the Starlet isnt given a group :(

(And why is the V6 a type D ... Thatcham class 1 + tracker ... but still apparently not secure enough :()

Thanks for that.

I heard as it is an import there is no specified group, so some insurance companies range from group 8 to 14 or something like that.

Hopefully I can find a company that lists it around 8-9!
