This. Even open cone you run the risk let alone a feed like that. I got super lucky with my K&N Car cut out before any damage was done. That you're just asking for trouble!

I'd go for the V6 box off the Ph1 though tbh a lot of people seem to get good results with them
cba to start a new thread but mine seems to be defo the plugs. Oil had got to them from leaky rockercover which hasn't been sealed properly by some monkey
what about if you rev it in N?
Could be lambda sensor. Although even though you changed plugs i'd be tempted to take a look at them mine was doing this last week under load and under 3k and one of the plugs was pretty dead (but it does sound a lot like coilpack)
sequential is latin for slow....... ok it's not really but they really don't like to be rushed
smooth changes are key otherwise they don't last very long I reckon.
