It all started with a defective airfilter. Which tried to suck some nice bits of metal down my engine but thankfully I spotted it in the nick of time.

Matt at TDF last month, spent 4-5 hours on it. Basically scrapped the whole thing more or less.

5 or 6k roughly.. runs alot crisper with a new set in - oh and obviously a proper map. still need to get the cam cover resealed though. In good time

I'd ask how you're finding the 120 trumpets once it's done but I'm pretty sure it'd be hard to tell amongst the mass of internal beefage. I bet it'll be well worth the wait.

Pimping :) Didn't realise you had a passat. Seems we've both gone down the no longer a daily route. Nowt wrong with that. Although my daily isn't quite in the same league lol
