Buy some new clips, there's quite a few parts that can be fixed that way.
Some vaseline grease (not sure the exact english name) helps too.
Buy an Audi next time :rasp:
The dyno gives you all the data you need, not just top end power and torque, so no need for acceleration times, but I think I'll do it anyway.
The dyno is a MAHA 4x4 good for 800bhp:

I didn't understand if you get a custom map...
I'll reverse the wheels front to rear and see, I changed to winter tyres and wheels but I don't recall if it was doing it before, as the car has been at the paintshop after and accident (no suspension damage, just panels).
The fact that it does it only when braking should point to the brakes...
I think it's a warped disc...I've got Ds2500 with Brembo HC, and haven't done any track yet.
I've got a vibration on the steering wheel when I brake, especially at low speeds and braking softly. No vibration when accelerating or at constant speed.
I've done less than 25k miles with them, isn't...
I'm planning to buy the RS Tuner soon...do I have to pay attention to the version if I buy a used one?
I don't have many mods, just 182 manifold, sport kat, k-tec mild steel and k-tec foam filter.
I usually use 95 ron fuel for costs reason as I do 75 miles everyday to go to work. Is that a...
We did make a few Clio Race System..it's been a while!
These:

Top notch quality and amazing sound...they're sold out but we could make a batch if there is any interest for a group buy.
These are the sizes for the mini:
195/55 R16 87V
205/45 R17 84V
175/60 R16 82Q M+S
The last one needs thinner wheels and they're expensive (VERY!)
So I'd go for a set of used 16" wheels with Nokian WR G2 if you think to encounter a lot of snow, or Pirelli W210 Sottozero if you want a better...
That's the biggest size available! If it's a '09 and not a JCW (211 cv, brembo front calipers) than you can fit 16" wheels with winter tyres...maybe even 15" but I'm not sure.
I'd go for 16" because the wheels ara much cheaper and on snow the skinnier the tyres are the better traction you get.
I...
What kind of bearing cap? Do they sell any with the renault logo, maybe the ones on the kangoo in the pictures are ok?
I'm fitting the winter tyres next week or the one after that, so if I get them I'll do it at the same time!
Last year I fitted these wheels, they're from a mk1 1.8 16v, with winter tyres:
I'd like to fit some hubcaps but the original were awful:
Do you know what I could fit?
I've seen that the kangoo steelies have some black hubcaps:
Any idea?
We should have the graphs of the Clio 172 and 182 on paper, with backpressure data too. I'll give a look next week. We made some 63,5 and 70 mm racing systems as well as the 60mm road system...
I work at an exhaust company and we do a lot of R&D on different type of cars.
Usually we remove the OEM cat, on recent cars it's placed very close to the engine to warmup up quickly and pass euro4/5 reg. We use a downpipe or a manifold without the cat and we place a sports cat downstream, under...
I refurbed mine, filling some big holes in the lips, removing tar etc...it was a 2 days fulltime job but it costed only 10 euros in material (sand paper, sand discs for the drill, filler), then when I was satisfied with the finish I brought them to the local paintshop and have them painted...
You could bring the engine to a specialist and make the exhaust and intake ports machined and polished, fit some fast road cams, have the inlet matched, fit a lighter flywheel and a final remap, you could have a consistent power gain with these.
Obviously nothing compared to a swap with a turbo...
If you have the engine on a cradle it would be a good time to have some work done, like matched inlets, ports, cams, maybe lightned flywheel...even ITB. It's not cheap of course but it'll change the face of the car once fitted!
I'd go for a 2.0turbo froma a megane, a 1.8 VW or a CTR engine instead...stick with a 172/182 engine, with the right mods it's more powerful than the 197 one.
Got them, no dashboard vibration. The gearknob vibrates a bit more.
At idle, even with the aircon on, I can't tell the difference.
Car is "tighter" on throttle on/off and gearchange is more precise.
It solved the 182 manifold banging on the ARB.
