It's got no force feedback, bit pointless tbh.
It's a shame there aren't any reasonable wheels, had the logitech one for gt6, and adds another dimension. The force feedback really does give you an idea of what the cars doing.
It's not different to the hoards that stick turinis and cup/vee spoilers on a 1#2. It's not a replica, it's cherry picking the nicest oe bits that suit the car. I don't see any issue with it, looks great.
Bar the squinty front bumper ;)
If you really enjoy the game you'll put up with faults. If you don't, the faults will bug you. The actual racing is brilliant. Doesn't feel scripted at all. And the cars all feel different, which is good. But some of the cars feel awful, the merc and the escort for example. Others feel great (Z4...
Crashed again. And a new bug. Car randomly turns left. No controller input. Car just suddenly darts left. Xbox packed up, whole lot being returned tomorrow.
Have you read any of the comments? If you want to play it now, in bug free format, buy the ps4. It's buggy on the xbox, the developers have admitted so, and are working on a fix. But no idea when it'll be sorted.
Each to their own. If the handling is sorted (which I'm guessing is a controller issue reading that thread) and the lag is sorted, it'll be a much better game. As it stands, I can't get into it.
Lag going into the same corner every single lap, combined with the prescriptive handling (which...
Imo, it's not realistic. But all the gamer geeks (online not on here) think it is. I'm guessing they spend a lot of time in their bedroom as opposed to actually driving.
It feels like a car with lots of grip, but shagged dampers. There's grip, but lots of float in the handling.
It's weird...
I veer from enjoying it a bit, then 5 mins later wanting to throw the xbox out the window. It's far too prescriptive in the way it demands you drive. Once nearly any car starts to slide, there's very little chance to recover. It's actually harder to skid/drift in the game than real life.
Can't...
I'd happily invest in a wheel to get the most out of it, but the other bugs would still be there. I don't see the point in spend a couple of hundred on a wheel when the game still slows to a crawl at certain points every lap!
Needs serious work imo. Get rid of the bugs, add a decent selection...
