    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Not done a great deal really, been making use of it :) Recently the ABS got ditched, got rid of the bracket too and got around to fitting my battery cut-off switch. Some minor weight saving, got rid of one horn and bent the bracket to tuck it up out of the way. Also removed the weight by the...

Hot Hatch article on PH; RS Clio content

I agree with it. My old Mk2 Fiesta felt amazing, my ph1 is not that road friendly but it's so much easier to push on in than the Fiesta was. If I went too fast it would try to kill me, if I lifted off it would try to kill me, if I braked too hard/late it would try to kill me. But get it right...

    Longer brake pedal travel

OK, so I guess the 12v feed for that cames from the ABS, and if I give it a new 12v from somewhere (any should do?) then they'll both turn off?

    Longer brake pedal travel

Jȯrd The brake fluid level light and handbrake light share the same bulb. I'm guessing the low fluid one goes through the ABS module so will I just need to give the sensor a new 12v feed? The STOP light is also still on. I tried pin 15 on plug B for that but it doesn't seem to do anything...

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

Re: The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy [& Fred's V6] It is closed loop :) The Quiafe is a nice bit of kit, I like mine and that fact the performace is consistent and won't tail off and need a rebuild like a Gripper. Shame they're so expensive for the Clio though, it cost me double what my last...

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

I had no issues test driving one at my local Renault earlier in the year. Nice car, but not special enough for me. Better all rounder and daily drive than the ST. Nicer dash too, I absolutely hate the radio in the new Fiestas. Better brakes, better suspension, it pulls off the 5 doors very...

    Fantoms budget PH1 Track car

It smooths out the torque curve a bit and gives some more midrange, or it should do. So it might be that you notice.

    Fantoms budget PH1 Track car

That's very cheap. I got my stuff for £70 and thought it was cheap. I run shorter studs and closed nuts though. The car is looking good on track :) happy with the induction kit?

Marongoni or Direzza DZ03G or Dmack?????

I ran H1, they needed a couple of good laps to warm up. Once they were warm they stuck like shot to a blanket and didn't wear much at all.

Marongoni or Direzza DZ03G or Dmack?????

The Dunlop are better in the dry yes. If that's what your after then don't bother with anything else or just get full slicks. They need to be warmed up, they'll try and kill you if not, on the road they aren't so bad as the tarmac isn't as smooth as on track. The R888 are better in that respect.

Marongoni or Direzza DZ03G or Dmack?????

I have some brand new R888 195/50-R15 in Medium compound for £400 The Dunlops are very good though. I even used them on the road and on a damp track.
