    Racing slicks

You can't compare the two...one is an ultra high performance road tyre MSA List 1A and the other is a road legal slick MSA List 1B. Try them both in the wet and then see what comes out on top. The AD08R is a great all rounder and it doesn't go off after plenty of abuse. Anyway for all the posts...

Should have said, I have the Brembos under 15" ET35 pro race 1.2. I went for the superior callipers (imo)

    4 pots with 15" wheels

3mm spacer should be enough. I've got 10mm but I'll be replacing these with 3mm ones.

    Racing slicks

Impressed with my Yokohama AD08R so far, great in the dry and wet although a bit difficult to get heat into when wet. If you want more performance in the dry then DZ03G are very good, get the hard compound rather than the medium. What tyres were you overheating?

    BREMBO's Black - Ph1 172

OEM/OEM+ all the way. Buy a tatty one to track, plenty of them around but not many honest low mileage/owner ones so look after it!

What exhausts can be fitted recessed apart from ktec?

A custom made one, depending where you are located you might have some good exhaust places that will make one for around £300

Renault 5 GT turbo race car

Cool car, I'd love a 5 :D Did you ever find the carb unreliable? Will you be changing to a coilpack or are you keeping the dizzy?

What tyres do you run on track?

Rainsport 3 for the road, good tyre and too cheap not to fit them.

What tyres do you run on track?

I used to run Federal RSR but found they needed too much camber to use them effectively. They are good all rounder though. I swapped to Yokohama AD08R and they are better again. They don't go off as quickly, offer more wet and dry grip and aren't as sensitive to camber. I've used more track...

Grabby Brakes until Warm RC5+ Pads

Yeah they're not bedded in properly yet then. Although on the box it says no specific bedding in process is required, there definitely is!

    Clio 200T remap

I'd take the ratings with a pinch of salt. Get an exhaust and sports cat then take it to rs tuning for a map.

    Clio 200 Mk3 V Clio 200 T Mk4

It wasn't raw enough for me to replace my Ph1 but as a daily it's a great all rounder. Better than the new Fiesta ST as a daily that's for sure.

    clip 197 cams with turbo?

Have a look at the catcams website and compare the group n cam figures of the 172 and 197. As for the 197 cams, yes they offer a bit more overlap so if you run a twin scroll turbo setup you will see benefits Otherwise as Mark has said, run the 197 inlet (with 172 dephaser) with the 172 exhaust.
