Engine covers are G.A.Y. I instantly removed mines when i bought my car. That fuelrail cover at least serves a purpose. That said; looking way better then the previous blue paint!

Yes that is common! Engine runs in a closed loop config. when cold... After a mile or so she should 'open'... Has nothing to do with fuel or so... it's about the emission regulations.
