it is just a part of the steering colum that gets play in it when the rubbers wear out, so therefore needs welding or replacing to get it stiff again, and i dont think i want to spend £80 on a new 1 lol
where is that bit? is it accessable from the drivers footwell?? can you weld it in position?? also is there any other way of doing it apart from welding it??? can i stick a screw in it or just stick a wedge in each side???? and also wen you fix it do you have 2 make sure it is in the middle or...

edit: i just checked parkers and it says an RT is 43 litres and a valver is 50 litres. is this right???
they have what is like double sided tape on the back of them where i would normally apply some copper grease, what is this for???

i just got some mintex from gsf for £38 and i bought soem standard rears for about £20 just wondering though, are the rear pads meant to be so thin as in the depth of the actually pad????
