I bought one with mine, not sure who it's through, seemed good at the time, but I bet most things aren't even covered. Only reason I got it was because the clutch failed on my old Clio and it was done under an aftermarket warranty so I saved myself a s**t-load. Still got a year left on it...

Going to show my complete and utter ignorance here, but for me there is a distinct 5k kick, which has got something to do with variable valves or some shizzle I think. Maybe there's an issue when that kicks in? Edit: You don't have a 172 so maybe that's not the case in your case :S

Only things my car has had done is new tyres, new exhaust and new front brakes. All consumables, all to be expected. 53 plate. I think Doc's was built on a Friday during another French strike.
