I will be monitoring the sale close as 4k is top draw money but it looks a good car.... Perhaps that price a tad optimistic. :) however if it goes for that good luck I will employ you as my senior sales assistant.
I sold My od for 3k.

Great engineering, however I wouldn't be seen dead in it.
It takes 2 mins to get the pins out you just heat the caliper up & tap them out.
You have been royally fubared.
I would refuse to pay- LOL @ 8 hours.
Actual times
1 hour for oils
5 mins for wipers
1 hour for caliper clean & pad refitment ( whether that be new or old)
1 hour for fluids...
Well Its phucked.
The good bits- mileage looks genuine- Steering wheel is mint.

If its in warranty its a case of call RUK & get completed for Free-
If its out of warranty- still call RUK they will get you booked into your nearest Renault garage to diagnose- try & get the diagnosis investigation fee waived.
If you have full Renault history you are looking at around 80-85%...
Recently I read about a product on here that restores the leather bolsters on seats-
It was a product that was dark blue that you rub into the bolster that removes the usual wear lines-
any ideas
thanks in advance
Its pretty simple - the best offer process is there to haggle to an agreeable price- the offer of 500 less was probably expected to be declined however a counter offer of 1500 may have been agreeable to both. Once a seller starts getting arsey they have lost a customer.

It really depends on the year the belts were done not the mileage,
I would say £1600-£1800 if the belts were done after 2010, £1300/£1400 if pre 2010 as they are due again soon.

You cant generalise to much on Phase 1s because theres so much to check - however like for like theres still around 500 / 750 difference between the 2 models.

Prices are staggered on an R26, I got North of £8250 for mine.
white & LY command the premium, - sub 40k with FSH & your looking at 8k dealer-- & even 8k private if its perhaps below 30k. The drops off when your trying to sell modified ones. Lows 7s then, people don't really want modified...
