the one that levo did is seriously a nice piece of kit but in reality its going to look like that orange one and its just not progression. the current one looks nice and a progression to what levos chopped whould be great but it wont be. Itll be some sh*tty heavy minging pile!
I hate car...
youll need the sub-frames from adjustable ones (correct me if im wrong). You will easily be able to find the adjustable sub-frame for the drivers seat from a higher spec phase 3 mk1 but the passenger might be a little more difficult. you will probably need to get a LHD drivers sub-frame. good...

Thats harsh. If someone asks about running 3 subs of 2 amps (WTF?!?!?) thats fine but oh no, we cant have a little ice related joke.
Are the skirts really that important to you? Id say thats a pretty good deal youre getting on the other mods so if you did do the skirts then youd only actually be paying £54 for all of the mods. If you think of it as £54 for everything then its actually not that bad.
How exactly do i go about installing this ice in my car. i was thinking along the lines of some kind of boot install and maybe i could light it all up with some red neons. Anyone want to shed some light on the situation?

If i had £500 id get a new HU (although i like the stock look), new front components, steering wheel adapter, possibly get some dynamat speaker baffle soundproof stuff, then an amp for the components.
If you want a sub then youd either be able to get one with that stuff but itll all be of...
that really annoys me too. I like my seats to had an identical set-up (possibly a bit of OCD there) but with the non height adjustable passenger seat i cant have that. It really annoys me. The LHD idea is a good one. Go to a scrappy and ask for any imports (made for europe not the made for...
Quote: Again, just with front wheel drive, I towed his car all the way to the motorway, which was clear.
Thats brilliant. I bet he felt embarassed about that. with the "Winter sports car" HA.
I hate ABS in the ice. quite scary
I hate to say this but im the best at driving in the snow in my family and im the youngest driver too. Im 18 with my clio 1.2 16v and my brother (20) with his golf is absolutely rubbish. my mum (45) with her golf is just an 8 mile a day driver and my dad (46) with his volvo V40 is alright but...
well that was incredibly easy. I had to call up Renault for the radio code but they wanted me to go in with my V5 form so i decided just to chance it and i leave the HU plugged in. I had to rest it on the gearstick but it was fine electrically. The tip about removing the hazard/lock/heating...
If theyve still got that Liquid yellow 182 with cup packs and recaros could you go up to the delearship and get some pics of it for us please?
Itd be good to see thhe recaros in.
also the carbon bonnet sounds like a great plan. would like tastey.
For the V6 id say go for the harnesses. Its not like theres anyone in the back whos going to get irritated by the harnesses. Some buckets also dont really have a good place for stock seatbelts feed through. But then with the harnesses you wont be able to reach the stereo or gearstick or...
Your bad fuel consumption will be to due to the IK and exhaust i suppose. You could maybe get the ECU remaped on a RR.
About the lowering. Did you lower on just springs. It might be a good idea to match the shocks to the springs to stop the bouncy feeling. i think its ok to lower 30mm...
this happened on my mates mini cooper. As it turned out the handbrake cable was shagged. It had been put under too much stress and strain and had extended so the handbrake was never really on. For now just leave the car in gear but youll definitely want to get it sorted. You could get the...
I dont really think its worth spunking such a huge amount of money on a stereo for your car. Your going to be driving about with engine noise and road noise so its not like the perfect sound quality from the speakers is going to be perfect when you head it due to all of the background noise...
Ive gone for the Ice>Link Plus. I think there are already suitable holes in my glovebox (maybe where your light is i have a hole as i do not have a light). I think ill just go for the disconnecting the radio method but where will i be able to find out my HU code? Im guessing in the...
Im looking forawrd to it very much but the delivery times seem to be a bit long. At first it said delivery will be usually withint 7-10 working days (a bit long but i suppose its not too bad) then i got my confirmation e-mail saying that ill get a dispatch confirmation e-mail when its been...
Definitely remove everythign you dont need. I dont do it regularyl because i live with parents and they dont approve but every now and then i strip it all out. seats, spare wheel, all that crap. Theres also a weird steel block thing in the engine bay that shakes about and isnt attacehd to...
Tonight i decided to take the plunge and order a Dension Ice>Link. I opted for the cable as opposed to the dock as i want to feed the cable through one of the holes in the glovebox. Has anyone ever installed one of these and could possibly guide me as ive never really done any kind of car...
