ph1 172 head is different. As is ph2 172 and 182 differ from each other. ph1 has different ports iirc? slightly larger exhaust ones? also i believe ph2 172 and 182 heads differ and the inlet manifolds are not switchable one way beacuse of something to do with the oil breather hole? I think...

What ive read is that gets you abit more top end and mid and a little less at the bottom end.

And how much would that actually gain you? as yod have to replace timing belt kit etc etc So by the end it would be in the thousands not hundreds right?

What does "headwork" involve?

Couldnt you just drill the cobra mounts to fit the seats instead of adding seat height with another peice of metal under the sidemount?
