Had a thought in the night. Try the metal ring/gasket that was already on the manifold before you bought the new kit. That way pretty much rules out that renault may have put a mis fitting gasket in.

Hmm. Might sound silly but sure the decat isnt upside down? No sure on the yozza decat but usually the lambda hole is more on the passenger side?

Official renault kit? Also Jons decat looks like a scorpion decat so the flange isnt welded to the rest of the pipe. so will look abit further away. Your springs dont look compressed at all. does the opening of the decat look any different to the normal cat? And did the normal cat blow?

You need the locking tools to do it properly. Just take it too a specialist. it will save you all kinds of trouble.

From reading other things, i think the turbo is a cheap thing. Lowlife had a similar thread and everybody suggested the GT28rs turbo. You will want a new ecu too do it properly. Gen90 or EC1 i would imagine would be up to it. Why not put a meggy lump in it like Andy on here did. Probably cheaper.

Youl have to kncok the old cup out with a screw driver and a hammer. Usually rusted in. I always put the fibre washer flat side on the cat/decat but doubt it makes that much difference. And yes thats how i have mine and believe its right :)

Ive zip tied the Cat lambda up out the way and blocked the hole in the decat with an old spark plug. Car runs fine and no worry about carbon build up/soot ruining the lambda sensor which can be more than the decat to replace.

Fibre washer not between the join. After under the spring then the other washer under the spring cup. soo Bolt Cup on the mani side. Then Fibre washer Spring Other washer Other cup Nut

Re: 182 track weapon attempt Get it on track! looks awesome. But im sure with the money youve spent on little parts like ducts and pods and flocking etc etc you could have done a trackday possibly more and the experience with the car would make you far quicker than all little bits done.

Going to selling parts or transfering things like seats over to the new car? Also so do you now have throttle bodies and an rs2? or never got round to buying bodies? Pity to stop so far along into the build but it makes sense money and competition wise. Could make an awesome fast road/track...

No crunches yet here but a whine in 5th and very faintly in 3rd 4th. Dif im guessing as never affects the changes or pull.

Poo! Am i right in thinking a blower motor from a scrappy will work aslong as the donor car has recirc? ie they are not model specific

And the 30 amp fuse in the engine fuse box? If so were in the same boat =[. Also your sister resitor pack wont work if she doesnt have CC like yours. Best way to check is bridging the pins.

Checked the resistor pack first? its a 5 minute thing? if you look under guides there is a guide there, The blower motor is under the scuttle pannel furtherst left.

Going to go with the blower motor still i think as no matter how i connected it too the battery it just wouldnt work.
