thats really putting off

A friend of mine asked me to post this tread for him He wants to buy a cheap renault hothatch and for his budget under £3k he has noticed the willaims and the ph1 172 are about the same market value what wud be the better car to buy, and why? clio wiiliams or the ph1 172 getting some feedback...

RS172 will have that little edge, gear ratio's are very similar.

from my experience only downside to the VTS is the engine was abit quite as standard, so cant be heard coming unless u got upgrades, where as im loving the engine note from the clio RS. Danny is correct on that, they are on the same league as 172 VTS feels like u cant take any car at the lights

owned a VTS for years - still think it can keep up with the 172cup or maybe it felt as fast

this one for Lowered/nice wheels etc

go for smaller wheels - and wud look great

nothing wrong with white on white - someone on here has a clio 200 with white mk1 typeR came white on white astra vxr cup is white on white

its not that bad - renault made the red wheels on the r26r look cool - alot on people didnt think the clio 200 was cool - but now it is i think if more of us follow this trend we can make it cool

im still running mine in Im getting 35-42mpg frm a 172 I get forgetting the last time a used the pump, i expect anything less than a 1998cc to be good on mpg or better just have an RS
