Think the bearings need pressing into the rear disks, thats what makes renault items really expensive. Not looked into the removal of bearings method etc, but surely rear wheel bearings wont be that much. As to ABS rings, no idea what they are.

Got joanne to ring my local dealer this morning, got told a 36k service is £386... :( So, i ring them back as its a normal service plus Aux belt. Service manager said its £199 for the normal service, then £186 for the Aux Belt.. Then he said its £18.99 for the belt, so that must mean a...

How about you get in touch with the renault bodyshop and ask them if they have any cars coming in with your colour, and ask them to paint the strips at the same time. I have a body shop near me which does loads of renault work, think its 4 dealers worth.

Take it back to the place that did the work and let them know... I did and got the work carried out for free..

Suppose its possible.. A 2ltr clio would be setup as 4x 500cc single cylinder engines, maybe something off a XT500 (trail bike, single cylinder) etc... Can name many a single cylinder bike over 400cc..

My bet is the bonnet is being cut to access the lock... The system was designed to not allow you easy access into the engine bay.

How does the re-map affect warranty side of things. Obviously we are tied into Renaults 3yr warranty on all things, is there any obvious signs that the car has had a re-map. If we change the exhaust etc, thats visual and they wont cover that, but altering the software on the ECU may cause...
