if you get fedup with it then you have no airbox to drop back on, i did the same with mine and had to fork out for a new 1 6months later. see if you can get a cheap one of ebay then butcher that one....

soon as you start the engine if you look at the rpm dial does the needle rev round right away.mine dont it stays still for about 2 seconds then kicks in. i would have thought it would have gone round soon as the engine was started. hope this is a better description

just noticed lately when i start the car the RPM needle doesn't go up straight Away.it's like 2 seconds later never realy noticed it before is it normal..or is there something wrong?...thx car is 172 mk2

try and narrow it down to what car your thinking of geting.go have a drive in it you will soon forget about the old dog once you get your new one...i sometimes feel like this about the wife..eek

use a touch up brush .you can get them from halfords cost about 15 quid comes in a kit form..then T cut it a few days later iv used them on mine with good results..

i had this problem the other day,i just sprayed it with DW40 left it for a bout 20 mins went back and kept tapping it with the ratchet and hammer.it came of in the end..
