I've used all of mine for my daily drive. Pilled 18k in 15 months on my 172, 22k on my 182 in 12 months and 42k on the Trophy in 2 and a half years. The Cup has already got 12k on the clock in 9 months. Never had any serious mecahical problems with any of them, and they all got used...
God no. I had a nose round that Clio while mine was serviced the other week. God knows how they expect to sell it looking like that. The only decent mod is the wheels. Plus I'm 99% sure it's an import.
I guess they're appealing to the boy racers of Cannock, as the dealership is on the local...
Looking round the net it seems to vary from site to site. I took the numbers from the original Renault Williams press brochure.
This site says the same: http://www.fasthatchbacks.com/cardetails.php?carlist=(555)
And this one: http://www.fastestlaps.com/car_Renault_Clio_Williams.html

Looking at the stats it's Torque Nm ISO - 175 which means f**k all to me, so I stuck it on an online calculator which has come up with 129 lb ft at 4.5k rpm.
Nope, they never did one. One of the lads on Cliotrophy looked into getting a limited run done, but it didn't happen. Something to do with a number of orders and obviously needing the go ahead from Renault.
I'll bring the Cup and the camera. :D I bet your workshop would be ideal at the moment?
I have a great memory for useless s**t Dan. If I could remember stuff that was useful to me in life I'd be running the country!!!
I know what you mean Rob, from a distance it's not massively different...
Picked up a 1/43 scale Clio World Series model this week. It's the closest I'll get to a Cup, as the World Series is what they call the Cup on the Continent.
It's a pity I couldn't get an arctic 182 and Trophy model to complete the set of Clios I've owned. I've got one of the Monaco 172...
I really liked it, but it's odd. The front is very understated, the arches are actually nicely pronounced, but the arse end is far from subtle. Massive exhausts and a glossy defuser.
That's the lot I'm affraid Seb. It's not like the usually Chavvy car shows I like to attend. lol I was surprised they had as many girls on the stands as they did. What with the world going PC mad!
Mine is exactly the same. It never works first time. I always have to turn the headunit off and back on. I think it's my cheap memory stick, as the one I use for movies and stuff doesn't do it.
Here's the pics I took today at the Autosport International show at the NEC.
I tried to work without the use of the flash, and they've not come out too badly. Shame the lighting at the NEC is so orange!
