Mine is odd, as the 26" LCD in my bedroom requires a booster, yet the 42" plasma in the lounge is fine, yet that's a longer cable run from the aerial in the loft. Must depend on the tuner in the set to a degree. Come to think of it, the one in the bedroom only needed a booster some time...

The main tripod pic in the first post isn't Harrys. He has 004, HT05 CCA. For the Trophy Vs M3 test they used 002, HT05 BZX.

Anyone can tripod at low speeds with a bag of lock. This is me at Spa, taking Les Combes, so I must have been in at least 2nd gear, possibly 3rd. It's been a while so I can't remember.

They're blagging with the warranty, imports still have the 3 year warranty a UK car has. Provided the car came from an EU country. Or are they offering a full warranty for 6 months? The 1st year is full and through Renault, years 2 and 3 are covered by the dealer, so they can argue about...

I had a new import 172 back in 03. If the price is right an import is a good buy, and that sounds a pretty good price to me.
