So if im reading that correctly, you're trying to grab the fonts off a network PC and copy them into your own? In which case make sure they're not in use on the other machine aswell.

Book into safe mode mate, tap F8 as your PC boots up. Once you're in safe mode it should be ok to delete it. Failing that try http://killbox.net/ to end all any unneeded processes. If you go into task manager any processes that aren't classed as SYSTEM can be closed if needs be.

Just seems a very odd concept, that and the fact that moving large amounts of data over a USB bus will result in increase CPU usage. That and the fact that I don't think a USB stick is able to provide the data throughput of say additiona RAM sticks.

Indeed, it hands more control to you the player and adds more difficulty yes, yes realism...well I'd debate that, it depends how well/badly the driver aids are programmed I guess.

Mack I'm not saying F1 or TOCA uses everyone of them. The point i'm making is supposedly the best drivers in the world have their creature comforts too. If you don't want driver aids, then ride a motorbike but then even in motoGP the likes of Yamaha/Ducati have some ghey launch control system...

I was talking about literally driving a Gallardo, not in some game. They're a beast, and I'd love to see you put one around a track with everything off - you'd be buried 6ft into a tyre wall chap. I agree that some level of realism is a good thing, but what I'm saying is turning driving aids...

That's what I figured :rolleyes: What sort of tool would drive a Gallardo without certain aids anyway. When I drove a Gallardo I was VERY happy to have a small safety buffer to fall back on!
