Couldn't agree with you more mate, had them on the five when i bought it and they went straight in the bin, also fitted a set to a mates ph2 172 and they are unbelievably w**k.

I had no less than three mk1 xr2's back in the day as they were so cheap and ten a penny, great little cars.
