Thanks jesus.
I'm not gonna bother with a fitting kit anyway as those clamps seem fine its just the clamp in the picture that's the issue so bough a new one for a fiver and hoping for the best lol
I'm hoping it comes off easily enough you never know! One thing after another recently.
Thanks mate. Ill just borrow my mates if i need it. Hopefully not lol. It does look corroded tbf so I guess we will see.
I went for this one in the end as it's virtually identical to the one already on it

@bakertom91
Had same issue when changing my dogbone. It's highlighted an issue with a clamp on the cat not clamping the middle section thoroughly causing a rattling pipe. Could well be your issue also.
As mentioned in http://www.cliosport.net/threads/exhaust-gaskets-clamps-etc.764834/
@optical thaks but after examination it's not the one i need
@jesus the clamp i need is detailed in the pic attached it's rattling and leaking from there and the pipe going into the cat is lose causing the rattling. Strange that it's only happened as i power flexed my dogbone!
do you know if...
To be honest it looks like the standard oem believe it or not so i believe it is. I guess i could just replace that and see. Have you a part number for it please
Afternoon all
I'm looking to replace all gaskets and claps on my exhaust from top to bottom as I'm sure it's leaking.
I know nothing about the exhaust on the 182. Could some kindly advise me of what exactly I need
Thanks all.
Yea i didn't open in all honesty. But in short just buy directly from henk at fastchip.nl you cannot go wrong. Website can be a bit daunting at first. Took me a while to get to grips with it. Any issues drop me a pm
Fastchip = rs tuner software which you plug the interface into your car via your laptop via obd2 and you upload a generic map file sent to you by henk. Well worth it imo
Rstuning = a visit down to leeds i think it is for a custom map session with a dyno. Which costs a bit more
Anyone can get insured but at a cost obviously. It's all part of being in that high risk category and throwing a 2.0 car into the mix, insurers will rub their hands together.
Been there and done it. Had a 106 gti when I was 18 and boy did i pay through the nose for insurance. Worth it though...
someone will likely charge you for checking it anyway as cam seals etc need replacing. I'd just take it to a specialist asap. Sounds fubar'd tbh. Talk to @MicKPM. Hes your man. Sorted my timing out cars been brilliant ever since
