on real twisties though the weight and height and basic un-nimbleness of the RS would be its downfall. I saw it on TV vs the CTR and to me the CTR looked better rd the twisties, long sweepers the RS.

they (autoexpress) got last years september issue 16.2 for the CTR yet in another issue 17.8. It beat the RS in the September issue but not in another . Personally i think autoexpress are muppets. I mean what f***ing moron gets a 172 at 8.2 secs to 60 -Muppets!!!- As if a car that weighs...

i bet the RS megane is wicked .. its being tuned to the sh*tty UK rds.. Unlike the RS which spent its time on some belgium race track

i think its the overly aggressive diff. When its on boost it tramlines and torque steers like its possesed i didnt like it. You might get used to it but i think that after a while youll go back to just driving it smoothly then its all a bit normal. :cry:

also we have 20 years more engineering.. it shoudlnt be dangerous. Its a hedge seeking missle :)

in the wet? It was wet at the pod and got beat by a CTR, the RS couldnt hit less than 16.. make up your own mind.. Evo have it down as being dangerous in the latest issue.... :o

i didnt think it was faster though thats just my point, it gains loads of grip on track due to the sachs dampers and huge wide grippy tyres..

The bloke in the Focus RS OBVIOUSLY wasnt trying!!! The RS is fast (220 bhp with a turbo)! It would swallow a Clio Cup whole mate! err.. 212bhp mate and thats with 98 ron fuel, anything less and youll knacker the engine according to ford. You OBVIOUSLY havent drove one Ben.. I ve kept my 172...
