probably about 180 ish give ot rake. 172 is a b**ch to tune. Biggest gains weve seen on rollers come from decats combined with straight through zorsts.

Never read the Observer Jonny, so cant comment ;)
Like mail on sunday but the arts pullout sometimes has tits in it.

Yellow is not an option in the UK
deffo? I read a review in my local paper last week that said it was a (Very expensive £1000) option.
I think with original wheels its worthwhile getting them professionally done as they will make the car look the nutz. Kerbing can be done for about £25 a wheel (I got chips away to do mine) or a full refurb for ABOUT £50 a wheel. I think its worth it tho as good condition standard alloys on...
Was hoping to have it fitted today but Ive rung larkespeed who I ordered it from last week and they need to chase it up with Janspeed on Monday :( so no decat for me this week. Will hopefully have it on next weekend! Anyone else had similar trouble getting parts mail order?
its the same engine in 182, higher output is got from breathing mods as far as I know so any changes on the 182 from standard spec will get less results. Itll be iontresting to get some modded ones on the rollers.
nope as far as I know its lump sum only. If they do allow monthly payments I think it bumps the premium up (check on that tho cos its ages since Ive been on their site)
I think the same as I do about cups. Its the same car FFS! dont go in for all this inter model bitching. Its the same car with a different zorst and twin pipes. Its a top motor just like the 172.End of.
This might have been posted already but on the shot of the clio in the tunnel (from the rear) you see the 182 tailpipes but you can see that the car is running on 172 wheels. Obviously they have just cgid the pipes on afterwards (tight arses!)
the standard air feed on the 172 is good so a replacement panel filter would be as good as an IK performance wise. If you want nice induction noise I can reccomend pipercross open induction. Sounds lush.

I think some of you guys are being a little hard on the LAD conversion. First up they have been in business for 20+ odd years so they must be doing something right..... The conversion is good enough for a franchised Renault dealer to sell...
