I know there are a few members on here with reps, just wondering what you've done with the bullets? Kept the 16v (if you had those ones) or fitted the 2.0 16v ones? If im honest i want a rep.. which means getting as close as possible to the real thing, but dont want to look like a c0ck with 2.0...
Basically i'm in the process of trying to stop every rattle that happens when i turn my music up. Im stuck on the side strips though? The noise they make is terrible - something has got to be done, just dont know what. Only thing i can think of is stripping half of the interior out and sound...
I used sticky pads for my rear plate, but aparently its a pain in the ass to clear up if you take the plates off. I'll be using velco for the fronts so if the police do give me any bother with the size i can just pull of and put old one on.
Yeh i'm looking at buying the front bumper and wings at the same time, then getting skirts when funds allow and i can find a cheapsh set. Don't suppose anyone knows if the skirts are nice and cheap from renault aswell?
Lol no its a MK2, My initials are 'M K', dont ask where the '3' came from. £45 new!? They're going for alot more than that second hand on ebay. What about the arch liners? Are they NEEDED if i was going to fit sport wings? Or will it just get very messy inside there? Thanks
No doubt it will sound better than without a sub, but you get what you pay for. Never heard of 'zero' before, so cant say if they're god or bad. To be honest mate most people would spend about that price on a sub alone, but it depends how mad you are about your music.
Really that cheap!? Wow thats made my day lol
They're not great looking but i can't be bothered with the hassle of modifying sport front bumper / can't afford to buy wings and have them painted so a facelift bumper is the only option really
Ive been looking around for a facelift front bumper, from the 04 + clio's, had a look on ebay but theres nothing. As far as im aware there are no scrapyards near to where i live. Can anyone suggest where else i'd be able to get one from?
Cheers mate, was after one without the facelift bumper though (should have said really). No worries anyway, just ordered one so i'll find out in a few days time
Ignore the username mate, MK are my initials, god knows why i put the 3 there lol. I have a MK2 PH2 clio, i know the 3/4 plates look smart on sports, just wondered if anyone had pics of them on a non-sport bumper
Pull up the leather at the back of the seat and have a look, iirc correctly i had to take half the cover off of my seat to get to mine. No idea how simple it would be to do yourself / how much it would cost, but when you find out let me know!
Check out people progress threads mate, youll see hundreds of sport bumpers. 172 and 182 bumpers are the same, except 182 bumpers have exhaust cut outs in the middle.
Mine was a bit tricky to pull now and again, untill one day i really yanked at it and then it snapped lol. Could just try taking the cover off the back of the seat and soaking the cable with WD40? If its really that much of a problem, if you have a feel around on the back of the seat there's a...
Thanks mate, well i suppose you guessed the 1st time round when you did yours so i'll take your word for it lol, and if not then it's only £3. All i have to do now is find them in blue
Sorry for the thread hijack alperin :D but guysy, when you changed the colour of the clocks to blue, in the pictures it looks like the lights not evenly spread - just 2 blue lights in the middle if you get what i mean? Looks like the light's not spread accross the display properly. Is that just...
