No fault codes i can see. I just replaced mine as my MPG was around 23-26MPG and the computer saying 36-40. So better to replace it for the sake of £55. They are a b**ch to replace tho

Thanks peeps for the help with this. An update: Drained the gearbox and only 2L was in there!!! Stuck 3.1L in with some molygrip stuff in too. The lambda sensor was a b**ch to do! But it's in! And next week will tell me if it's done the job.

Will halfords sell the 8mm square socket? Also any idea on how to fill it? Would it be best to get a funnel and an 8mm tube from my local B&Q? I will pop down to halfords and see if they have any 22MM Ring Spanners - Good shout there!

Hey Drove home withe the RS tuner running yesterday. With the AC on the Engine coolant temp never went over 85C (well 85.68) With it off the coolant temp raised to 105 max whilst i was in stationary traffic for a good 15 mins. Is that an OK temp??

im sure you can find a used gearbox for say £100 and if you can fit it yourself then its a cheap thing to do? Then send your one off for a refurb when you can afford it
