Sounds like its buggered, but if your not sure go along to kwikfit or something. They'll give it a quick going over (one near me did it for nothing, because I told them I would come back after pay day. Obviously didn't).

Somebody mentioned that Shell has sold a lot of its garages to BP. Is this true?? Seems Shell is changing a few things lately..

Where abouts you from?? I'm sure there is a good garage near you that will do it cheaper... Got mine done at BBPerformanceTuning for £120, and more importantly stamped the book to keep it in warrenty. Plus they did a 120 point check compared to Renault's 25.

I might be wrong, but everytime a problem occurs like this, the ecu records the error. So probably best to pop into a Renault garage for them to check.

If your really worried, for a small fee (like 20/30 quid) Kwikfit are doing A/C's now. They maybe able to fix it and/or put your mind at rest. And better yet, you don't need to make an appointment...
