I generally stick to 720p. On Rainbow Six Vegas there was quite a difference with 1080i being worse. That was on a 32" so a 40" may improve it, dunno!

You came to where I work! There's some great stuff. That OLED screen is only 11" but looks great. We have had a 27" one demo'd too, it looks f**king awesome. Will have to wait a few years before they become reasonable though!

In the options is the media file type one that is set up? If not you can just select it. I use Winamp, never have problems.

The box has a "Service only" USB port so unless that can be free'd up as a normal port I wouldn't have thought it possible.

Try a normal USB cable from it to the PC and see if it recognises it as and external media device. I'm not sure it would though.

Maybe sometimes but that notebook is not underspecced and overpriced. dk they are only just out so most places haven't received stock yet. Give it a couple of weeks.

I noticed a big difference on my Sony 32" + PS3 and that's only 720p. A lot can depend on the film also. Watch something like an episode of Planet Earth or film like 300. If you aren't using HDMI it also makes a noticeable difference
