First impressions: Brilliant.
It's not too loud when cruising at 70 or less. Anything more and it starts getting a bit noisy, but I've found that's easily solved by turning the stereo up a tad.
At full throttle it sounds bob on. It's very loud though. I set a car alarm off going down my Mrs'...
Use the Windows firewall. It'll use fewer resources than any third party software and it's far from obtrusive.
It's just as good as any other software based firewall (as long as it's configured correctly). Anybody who tells you otherwise doesn't have an understanding of how a firewall works.
I got 42mpg on the way down to KTec earlier on today.
Now I'm back and I've reset the trip computer, I'm getting 20ish. The exhaust sounds mint at WOT though, it's hard to resist :o
I got to the bottom of why mine were crap.
I found that they worked fine until I cleaned my windscreen with some Auto Glym glass cleaner stuff. After that, it must have left some kind of protective film on the window. This caused my wipers to smear, therefore leaving a load of water over the...
Sounds similar to mine TBH.
I don't think you have an issue there.
Mine when just filled says I've got about 400 miles worth in if I reset the trip computer and drive sensibly.
The thing to bear in mind is that the fuel guages aren't entirely accurate. For example, when mine's in the middle it...
Looks nice. I'm getting mine done on Thursday so hopefully it'll look something similar (apart from the colour difference).
Can't comment on the sound because I'm at work ATM, so I'll have a listen later.
I had them on the front.
They're very grippy in the dry but get a fair bit of wheel spin in the wet. Often found I lost a bit of grip coming off roundabouts too.
I've changed the wheels around so that I've got P-Zero Nero's on the front again. They're just as good as the Proxes in the dry but...
No, the number plate has a couple of slight cracks in the laminate at the top. Water and dirt has got into it.
Haven't bothered to replace it yet.
It's not an MOT failure because none of the numbering is obscured.
Even Microsoft admit that their certifications aren't much use unless you've got experience with the products. It's OK learning the stuff you need to know to pass the exam, but what you really need to know is how to put everything you learn together and actually make a network work. Only...

They're the correct ones.
If you buy some they're a little difficult to get in. You have to force them into the bulb holder a little bit and you have to wiggle them about to get them through the hole in the headlight unit because they're slightly wider than standard bulbs.
I like them...
Certifications are great. I'm all for them. It makes potential employers notice you.
However, it won't get you the job.
Experience counts more than anything, no matter how qualified you are. For example, I applied for a job with Integralis. I've got my MCSE with Security specialization...
Yep. No matter what path you go down in IT, if you want a technical job you're no doubt going to have to start off doing a first line user support type job. Some kind of call centre / helpdesk / Tech Guys type job.
I had to, and so did everyone else I know.
I too chose to go down the Information...
