I don't "need" a 42" TV but I'm just conscious that I might find the jump from 32" to 37" isn't that great and then regret not going for the 42" version.
I doubt I'll get a BR/HD-DVD player and it'll mainly be used with SKY HD which outputs at 1080i anyway so will I really need, or want, a...

Sounds like a power problem. Probably a cheap/nasty PSU (no offence) which can't cope with the USB powered devices being plugged in while the PC is running.
You need to crop it.

Most of you have seen the pics.. As much as I like it I want a larger TV and therefore it would help to sell the Sammy.
With the price of LCD's dropping every five minutes what's a fair price for a 8 month old Samsung LE32R71WX? £350? £400?
No problems at all so far (touch wood). If you've got an AV amp make sure you get yourself a optical cable as most of the HD stuff is also broadcast in DD5.1 as well.
