If it cranks and doesn't fire up, then would be crank sensor, try cleaning it first though!
Mine does it occassionally and starts after I touch the wires going into the sensor. Terribly embarassing at 8:15am at a set of traffic lights with high curbs, on a busy road when the car dies!
Nothing special but thought I mights aswell post up.
Started out as a sketch, scanned in and then edited. Pretty obvious which bits I'm still working on, then colour will be added.

If all the system is bled and discs/pads are fine can't see whats wrong.
Although mine do the same, so I always give the pad area a hose down when I wash the car to get rid of any excess dust. Other than that it's just when they're cold, after just setting off etc.
