Well, the chap in the Apple shop reckons around £160.
It's definitely just the outer screen as she can use it as normal at the moment, although the screen is well and truly cracked. I've cling-filmed it up and it still works fortunately.
I think my house insurance covers it, with a £50...
So the missus has let her iphone drop out of a dock station music thing, onto a tiled kitchen floor. Broken screen.
No specific insurance for it, surprise.
So, how much will Apple charge to replace the screen?
The alternatives at the moment seem to be to see if our home insurance covers...
It would annoy the hell out of me if I were a proud new owner of a Clio 1*2, thought I'd share my joy with the 'lovely' people on Cliosport, only to get a smug wink followed by a link to a list of Cat D cars, of which mine was on there.
Leave it to HPI, please.
I tried doing this with my iphone last night and got nowhere...my phone line is all connected up but the box says it's not.
Also, apparently you need to have a 24hr clock on the Sky+ box in order for the iphone app to work, and I can't work out how to change the time setting!
Welcome mate, I'm sure you'll be able to find a cracking Ph1 for your budget, or a pretty nice Ph2.
I'm a bit tired of saying it so much, but people place too much emphasis on mileage. Fair enough if it's ticked over 100k but I would much rather have an 80k motor with FSH and a book of history...
Modern day communication means people shouldn't discount someone who chooses to email over picking up the phone imo. It may be impersonal but it can lead to a sale just easily in my experience...
How many threads do you need!?! ;)
Looks alright, would lose the wheels though. Anything under £5k is a pretty good price for a decent 182 at the moment.
Fair enough mate, there's nothing there which commands a premium though and the power output is incredibly optimistic if he's listed all the engine work!
How much is it up for?
Looks a nice example mate but I'm always put off when a car has had engine rebuild work. I'm sure it's fine but I'd always wonder what was wrong before and how much damage was caused to peripheral parts...
The mileage itself wouldn't bother me in the slightest.
My Cup has just ticked over to 80k, I'm the 4th owner.
Replaced:
Brakes
Battery
Steering arms and track rod ends
Exhaust
UCH
That's about it I think... engine mount and bushes probably need replacing soon also.
Generally mileage doesn't seem to be a particular issue with RS' so far as long as they're been cared for. More wear and tear parts will need replacing, but that applies as much to age as it does mileage for the most part.
Mine's on 80k and whilst it's had a few parts replaced (exhaust, UCH...
LOL, no concern of mine matey, it's just very easy to get caught up in the prospect of a new car and settle for the wrong thing. 1200miles a month is nothing really, any well maintained car should do that easily.
French Blue, he's buying an R27R and it's never been on a motorway?
For an enthusiast he doesn't seem to know his RenaultSports much, but it looks in good nick.
As I said in your other thread, you're hopping about a bit from Ph1's to 182's, so it seems you're a bit 'too' keen on getting...
You don't seem too sure what you're after mate, I'd definitely recommend not rushing to get a car just because you feel that you need one ASAP.
A low mileage Ph1 in mint condition, £3k of anyone's money IMO. Mint Pug 106's can fetch that so no reason why 172's can't.
They are 8/9 years old...
If it's cold then make sure the water is warm enough to not freeze to the bodywork. Apart from that, it's entirely down to the temperature that you want to dunk your hands into again and again!
