Love your car Justin. The Evora really suits a bright colour.
I share your fustration with Lotus though. For a company with such a big 'masterplan' they really need to sort out the existing infastructure before they start launching all these new models.
Hopefully you won't have any need for...
Re: Project 172k Trophy, & its endless track abuse
Ahh i didn't realise you didn't get any sound from your horn at all.....unless you count the fizzing and crackling.......my horn worked for a while after i fitted it (so you failed harder...on this occasion) but then it self combusted after...
As Dave has said, Im seriously tempted to take the 106 in protest that james has defected......polluting the normally N/A meet with his BOOOOOST tosh.

Hahahahahaaaaa! I just read THE funniest thing......apparently someone is attempting to drive a VALVER to Le Mans!!!
Oh wait...
I'll be impressed if i touch less than 20 Loti TBH. And i'll be mighty impressed if Tom manages to make it to Saturday afternoon for the start......that boy cannot...
Simple formula needed to get yours to this spec is as follows: Do not move out of home + work daft overtime hours (or do what Nick does and be 'On Call' i.e Free Money for staying home and eating toast)= minimal bills and lots of disposable cash monies.
;)
Been perusing the Pistonheads classifieds for a diesel wagon to replace the 106 and I stumbled upon "The Beast".

And remember, those of you rushing for your phones, no 'TEST POILETS'.;)
Ahh im glad to hear its being repaired. A decent panel beater and a good jig can bring most heavily shunted wagons back from the brink.....
Be good to see it back to its former glory!
Wow! I love the ambition you guys have and look forward to seeing how this project progresses.
Tom (JMS) and I are teaming up with a view to go racing in 2012 with his 182, rebuilt to a race car spec. We like you, have zero racing experience but are very much looking forward to the challenge...
Top secret im afraid. We had planned on stealing James' Meggy turbo once his back was turned but to deprive Mr Stone of his BOOOOOOST would be like telling Sir_Dave he can only buy one car a year.......i.e nigh on impossible.
;)
Ahh all this hype and it's actually no faster than mine!!
Well come on Nick, you knew I wasn't going to give you praise in public......bucket of s**t! ;)
In the snow you will actually be better off with a pair of those steelies on the front. The Mrs' 182 is wearing a pair and its miles better. It was shocking. Wide tyres FTL.
Im sure we've done sooooo much worse than this Mike....
15 mins from me.....and a nice blat up Bury Hill. I may come down.

I think we were exceedingly lucky that day Tony....considering most the country was under snow at that point. I think Brands was completely covered about a day later!
The last time out at Brands Tom even you didn't drag yourself out. The shame was obviously too much to bear....;)
Glad you got some track time in gents.....albeit limited. Makes our 'frosty' day at Brands at the end of November look tropical!
