Gaww Damn.....I'd be gutted if I didn't have a friendly MOT tester to hand...;)
The Cup would currently fail on:
Decat
No pretensioners
No drivers airbag
MIL on for said missing airbag
And probably a whole raft of other things these Euro fat cat health and safety, environmentalist, tree...
I did say that the colour clash really won't matter......if you are hammering down Paddock Hill and worrying about whether or not your bum looks big in this colour then I really think your priorities are askew! ;)
Two thirds of any total painting time is the prep. The physical act of applying the paint is the quickest part but the overall finish is made (or broken) by the quality of the prep.
And prepping an interior with cage in situ is, i quote, " a ballache". To paint it isn't simple either!
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Tired of a 50mpg derv and a lack of serious pace? Oh my heart bleeds....
I currently have a SORN'd (and not so happy about it) Cup and a race car in kit form......the 306 can go around corners well but I feel like im about to...
Hell i'd be furious! Lucky yours were wrapped......just like ours. ;)
Sounds like the car was infinitely more manageable once you'd altered the rear end. Its a lovely feeling when you have a car in that sweet spot around a track so it must have made life so much easier compared to how it was...
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon

At least we know you weren't cooking them. Unlike that bloke in that near...
All will be revealed in due course....;)
There is a 'title' sponsor which the entire car colour scheme is based around. Obviously we aren't having an entire exterior re-paint and luck would have it that black ties in nicely with the livery/colour scheme our sponsor has in mind.....also...
He's not missing having it on the road, he's dying to have it on the track.....as am I. But im lucky in the sense that i have my Cup for the odd speed hit (even though its currently SORN'd) whereas Tom has only had a day at Bedford, again in my Cup, since taking it off the road last year.
And...
I'd imagine so. To be honest I just regurgitate stuff Tom has told/shown me we're having on it. There are quite a few clever little touches that are quite impressive.
The level of 'want' to get in and drive the thing is nigh on unbearable at the moment.
Lol @ 'Billy'. Shows what happens when 'Junior' goes and works with a proper race team, gets called 'Billy' and told to make tea and clean wheels.....he then thinks he's qualified to use the term. :rasp:
Anyway, whilst Junior and The Mad Professor have been madly 'engineering' and...
Hope you guys have a good showing this weekend. I'd love to come up as i said to Tony on Friday, but we have a pretty busy weekend ahead.
Best of luck lads.:)
