actually the 106gti is slightly heavier due to the leather interior :) some gtis are quicker than vts, some arent the engines in both varied from 120-130bhp. dont see that many 106gti's around to be fair. 172 performance for half the price. cant beat them for smiles per £

thing is.. insurance companies see show cages as proper roll cages so usually double your premium. if you crash with one in.. its going to show up as the roof skin etc will bend round it .

proper cages need welding in, or plates welding then dirllign through/bolting proper cages stiffen the car up loads and save your life show cages would probably just snap and stab you in the back of the head.
