^ Went WS1 tonight and had a very dull one, getting back at 2am to see my car pretty much swirl free and glossing a treat under the street got my spirits back up again :D
Well....you saw what start I got off to :o
Really enjoyed having a go with it but was tough on the hands...Doing a whole car would be pretty knackering I imagine.
I'd be looking to pick up a 172 cup or dynamique interior, they go for pretty cheap! Saves you experiencing what Martin172 describes as the "handbrake up the arse" under hard cornering from the terrible seats the Expression has.
Just a few before shots for comparison. This was as it stood before washing and claying:
As you can see, rather dull and hazed, not very reflective at all.
It's now more reflective than I ever thought a silver could look.
I'd reccomend to a lot of people looking to get into...
I used it while Russ was doing the body work, was piss easy, just work in well with an MF then buff off about 20 mins later. Great stuff, the wheels are beading
Massive thanks for today Russ, top job, even after my attempt to ruin it by splatting polish up the nearside :rasp:!
I was really suprised by the crisp, glossy finish Russ achieved on what is a bit of an unrewarding colour. Lime prime via rotary proved to be a bit of a weapon.
Also suprised...
Mate of mine suggested that, said he has seen it cause cars go into limp mode quite often. Cheers :)
I've already had work done on the throttle body :(
My mates got one for sale atm, not sure if its sold now.
1.2 16v TCE, remapped, exhaust, filter, dump valve....got 129 bhp at FCS.
Its blue with graphics on trophy wheels, smart little car
I learnt the hard way^^
Had a bit of lacquer peel myself so flatted it all back and went over with panel wipe, then when I went to lacquer back over the paint just picked up over the lines where the lacquer had peeled in the first place.
The reason why you're lacquer has peeled in the first...
^ Cheers Luke, as you say its a bit of a mine field, there are a number of things that could be causing it.
As I said it's been on a diagnostic before which highlighted the throttle body, which was replaced but not cured the problem long term. :(
I'm wondering whether its one of the sensor's...
Followed you from Weeford island up the a5 to muckley corner and up the Shire Oak Hill.
Driving was erratic and had a muppet of a passenger who kept sticking his head out the window, exhaust sounded nice though.
