Jock - read autoexpress 2 0r 3 issues ago - Focus RS on cover - I think youll find that it is in fact a 1.8L Turbo Zetec lump with 215BHP!! The Cosworth engine will be a 2.0L sensibly enough!!

Its a 1.8 turbo - read autoexpress 2/3 weeks ago or visit website and read articles from magazine!! If it was a 2.0L turbo, which it isnt (the Cosworth gets the 2L!!) it would probably be pumping out a hell of alot more power than 220BHP!!

Capn - could u find out for me if I can remove the silver panel that goes around the centre airvents and stereo in the Mk 1 172 - need to replace mine and dont know if itll be alot of work - dont want ot start cutting up bits either! Cheers

I remember readin in the brochure that the froggies got a nicer induction note because they sat on the left in front of the intake on that side - I think the renault sport schematic thats floating about somewhere shows induction only on the left - our passenge side/froggies drivers side!
