Ive recently decided to turn the ABS off as I never got to grips with it before, on old games but now I wouldnt have it any other way :) Can actually stop quicker I find, and can trail brake into corners without the ABS going ape and causing understeer!
Manual gears all the way!!!!
It happens a fair bit actually, seems to be when you put them under pressure. They seem to do it more on medium difficulty I find, Ive got mine on hard....but not professional lol yet....
From what I understand the rear has around -1.3 (?) degrees of camber? What is the standard figure on the front with a completely stock car (not lowered)?
Thanks
:approve:
Depending on which backbox you have (the weight) will determine how long it lasts. It doesnt "break" as such, but after a few days/weeks it will sag at offer no real support to the box.
Love those M5's, I STILL keep meaning to have a play in one! Loving the side on picture :)
I seem to have lost part of my tyre!!
Here was that stock Punto almost lifting its wheel, and failing. But gotta love lift off oversteer in a fwd hatch :)
I keep umming and arring about getting one but I need my sensible head on for a few weeks at least while getting this house malarky sorted. Or Ill be in trouble with the girlfriend haha
It can be your present from her ;)
The 2-Eleven is one of my favourite cars. Put the V6 from the Evora in it and use it for S class (i think), its brilliant and stops so well.
Ummmmmm, theres so many good cars, Ive yet to try most of them lol
Even so I cant see how people are getting 1m 09sec with a Furai :O Any modding and I believe it'll go up to R1 class. I can probably gain a second if I can get the last banked bend right and the one at the bottom of the big hill :)
Only got a 1m 15sec clean lap so far
Nice on on fitting all the bits......Im interested as to how the ARB performs, although it may be masked a bit by all the other bits you've added lol
D'oh on the track day!!
Ste, you dont actually NEED to buy many cars, you get a prize car with every driver level you rank up, starting with lesser cars and getting better as you go along. You will probably need to buy some to "fill in the gaps" in the event list ;)
Oh right, I didnt see that listed in the leaderboards? Most were Furai's, with a couple of C-class Mercs and Opel Astra V8's. Cant see the Radical :S
Definately R2 on Stadtplaz? Im doing it "hot lap" mode in free play
You using the Furai? or something else? I see the 1m 9sec times are all using that but I cant see how they're getting about 5 seconds on me in 1 lap :O
Im no Senna but it was a pretty tidy lap in my book lol Not tidy enough!
I've had the entry level Onkyo TXS R 308 for nearly a year, and cant fault it. Ive got 2 floorstanders at the front, and satellite centre and rear's. No sub at the mo yet but I dont really need one tbh.
The 309 is out now though! Its ~£200 but with your budget you could get the higher spec...
Anyone managed to get a rear wheel cocking on a FWD car WITHOUT using any kerb etc yet? Not sure if its even possible.....as in its not in the game's physics?
I had a Punto SO close but it just wouldnt lift completely
I tend to modify "lesser" cars to compete with the top-dogs too! Sometimes just do it cos I can :) Im currently doing alot of B class races with a Mk1 MR2, good fun and handles brilliantly!
