Check this thread for identifying whether you have the RS stamped inlets. Its quite hard to see with the fuel rail guard fittted but its only 2 nuts that hold it on.
Its the big R and S that give it away ;)

Welcome to the Norwich fold! :)
Personally I'd get the grilles sorted out first too ;) has it had the cam belt and aux belt done? Quite expensive but important on these engines!
You can get some oval shaped rubber ones from most exhaust places that have several holes in which are a lot more solid and fit lovely into the standard rear mount, my mate fitted one to mine today. will get pics and rough dimensions soon. Can only be a few quid to buy too I imagine.
My old exhaust went to sh*t recently, blowing in about 5 places so its been binned off! Got hold of a 6month old Miltek thats been modified into a "stealth" look instead of the big twin tail pipes, works really well :) Pics coming soon
I know they have different cats and some have 1 lambda and some 2.
I have a Phase 2 172 with 2 lambda's and a standard cat in.
Im looking at a 2nd hand cat back system from a Phase 1. Im unsure if its a double or single lambda but it has the 2 cats side by side.
From what I understand theres...
So you can get some eibachs for better ride and handling, or apex for a lower look but be prepared for a harsh ride.
Or save some money up and get some decent coilovers and have the best of both :)
I've had both on mine, and the apex are generally lower but they're very hard, and choppy on bumpy roads. Switching to eibach sportlines was the best move I did. They sit a little higher but the handling AND ride is miles ahead!
I've always wondererd why alot of people like to make the rear of the car lower than the front :S (in a fwd car)
Surely this makes the handling alot worse due to weight transfer and all that.....and it looks a bit gash IMO!
Thoughts?
Weigh it :)
I too have this problem :( lol I do the same as you (albeit not for Red Bull) for a living and if Im honest the "mirror" thread did make me cringe a little
From the work I have seen Chris produce, I cant criticise him for great finish that has been produced ;)
