hello just a curiosity question what is the worst case scenario for the dephaser? meaning whats the worst that can happen if you just let it get worse and worse? and does it stump performance as it gets worse and worse? just my curious mind haha! jack

hello i recently converted my 1.2 16v ( 2002 ) to a 172 ( 2002 ), the problem being is the mot garage wont pass my car without no power steering which i dont even want but thats another story! i was just wondering if there is a way to get around the 172 rack option seeing as the power...

i am using 1.2 hub's with upgraded 1.2 brakes and shafts, and the only reason i'm not keen on going for the 172 rack option is because i find it hard to believe that as the 1.2 rack is electric there is no way to get it working? as stated k-tec do not change the rack on the conversion they do so...

right okay well seeing as im in devon it will probably be raining tonight so ill just do a raindance and wait for the rain to come and see what i can do, if all else fails ill just get a new sensor tomorrow, thanks for help jack

ah god sake haha... well i stripped my car and it looked odd with having the plastic there looks like i gotta find one of these then! MOT is rebooked for saturday which doesnt help matters! :rasp: thanks for the help though jack

if i've taken out my rain sensor ( black thing on windscreen ) out then could this be the reason? :S and if so is there anyway around it as i don't have it anymore :O thanks for quick replies! jack

hello, my car has recently failed mot because of no intermittent wipe, i changed the stalk as a first resort and it has made no difference im guessing its to do with wiring or could it be another component? any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated! jack

not that this is any help but i also have this problem at it is from 5k to limiter, so would be interested to see what comes up!

Hello, well here's the story, i recently finished my 2002 phase 2 1.2 to 2l conversion and eventually got to take it out on the road!:D, and then going along i heard this bang which turned out to be my power steering pulley had sheared off, got away with it lucky! i then had to tow my car home...

the 172 ff so i need the 110amp am i correct? anyone have one ? thanks for info, jack

*update* the what i think is the fuel relay switch is getting 6 volts? when i take this relay out should the "buzz" from the throttle body stop aswell? another point i'd like to make is that the fuel relay and pump were working fine with no issues whatsoever before i started the conversion...

all the lights on the dash turn on and it turns over etc or is this irrelevant? :S jack
