why whats wrong with them ?
Fred hasnt dissed them atall i dont think, no point gettin the big brake kit from k-tec then have to fork out more again to get 4pots :)
Wel i got a fine for:
-HAving a raised bonnet
-rear lights to dark
-small numberplate
but i got a warning and they were keeping a check on me until i sorted them, couple days later on the way to work i got pulled by the same copper and was orderd to take car back home, and if he saw it like...
Did mine like that, lasted about 4-5 weeks until i got pulled for numerous reason, and the copper said " What would happen if you run someone over if the bonnet is like that" i was like urmm, obvious the person would go over the car realisticly ffs, but i ended up with a £30 fine :)
Nope dont need to as the 1.2 running gear work, just look for Dynacup on here (fred's car) hes also running 1.2 gear on a cup engine.

Ye but i dont have 172hubs tho guys, so i have to upgrade the caliper aswell, as theres no bracket to fit the 1*2 calipers onto non-sport,
Might be cheaper just to get K-tec big brake kit then (N), didnt really wanted to get them as i always fancied 4pots,
i need upgraded brakes, and i do intend to take the car on track tho,, as its a jump from a 1.2 to a 2L the original brakes will work but i cant trust them as their not deisgned to handlle the power,
Fletcher, how much were the compbrake kit? and were from?
they offer between 285 and 325mm in discs tho, i basicly need them behind 15" as i dont tend to go bigger..
What size discs would i need for the 1.2 16v hubs then, standard is 260mm ye?
Nearly finished my conversion so im after some upgraded brakes now, so 4pots are on the list.
Been looking at the billet 4 in silver but i havent got a clue about the size's etc :o
Fred did mention before (cant find the thread) that the Williams/valver calipers etc is the same for a mk2 ph2...
even if you dont have a full tank its not even, my passenger side looks lower on one side also the tyre is actualy stuck to the arch :S havnt driven it close to 2months tho,
injectors are spraying ? how do i check for that? :S
i cant hear the fuel pump prime anymore, which is why i think the relay is nakerd,
ye i could do for about 10+seconds before, now it will cut it self out after abit,
Update:
She's trying to fire up, but it just wont, iv removed the spark plugs gave them a clean, but i think theres no fuel pumping through,
any suggestions?
Fuel pump is now working, i removed all the relays last night and today fitted them back dont ask me why i did it but that seems to have made the pump prime and i can now check if it works as i have fitted a fuel filter in the bay.. reason for this is i needed a t-piece but a straight one to...
you jack one side up first set the axle stand, then go round to the other side and do the same, dont be scared it looks like its going to fall but its safe.
When placing the axle stands dont put them in the centre, place them more to the front
Under the car you will see like 2 strips about 2-3inches wide and run to the back of the car, rest them on there as thats the chassie(sp) If your using a Hydralic jack use the chassie, but if your using a scissor jack then use the sill
dont rest them on the sill as that will just bend and...

will it make any different if theres fuel in the tank, as im gathering that will just pump into the engine causing overfueling ..
ok iv got the rear lights etc to work in the rear now, there was a connection loose in the connection block poped it back in and stuff worked except the Fuel pump ..
Now the fuel pump is a puzzle for me, as i can only think of two things that might cause it not to prime .
1- A blown relay in...
look under the headlight,you can see abit of the wing sitting a couple of mm higher than there other part.. see it ??
maybe try and check that your wing is on properly ?
