Right then, my car failed its MOT today due to an excessively noisy exhaust, even though the same bloke passed it last year but heh...... Anyway, Ive got the original K-Tec exhaust system and a straight through de-cat pipe which in truth does make it very loud. I havent heard a louder exhaust...

My K-Tec completly drowns out any noise my Viper IK makes. I thought it was silent until I was told you can hear it sucking from outside the car.....

The HillPower IK is pretty good for the 1.4

think it was 140quid iirc but prices have since gone up a little I think. mods are; full ktr exhaust & de-cat piper x viper ik hp stage 1 chip pbv

There is quite a price difference isnt there? I would have thought the BBPT chip as they have a rolling road iirc. Saying that I have the HP chip and am happy with it. I know there are better chips on the market but for the money I couldnt say no.....

A mate, whos got his own little back street garage. Hes cheap and looks after my car better than me, and thats saying something! I live in North Wales though, which is probably a little out your way. Where are you from? Might help people suggest a good place for you to take yours.....

Do a search, a lot more people have had a high idle like that and have fixed it. I think its a cable (not sure which one) but cant remember for sure.

1.8 16v Had it over a year and a half and am not really bored with the performance. Bought it standard (137bhp) and is now running approx 160bhp. Doesnt help when my brother has a 250bhp Escort Cossie that eats me for breakfast though lol.....

850 +/- 50rpm. Mine used to idle bang on 900rpm, before I tuned the engine, now its a little fluctuating but still around the 900 mark....

Dont think DT sell them, but will fit them for you as they did mine.

Timing Sensor? Ive not changed that on mine (have changed most other things!) How much mate?

Demon Tweeks set mine exactly to match the front. After a week or so the springs settled so it was a few mm lower at the front but thats how I like it!

most cars have a number plate recess on the boot that needs to be welded over and smoothed off, and then the number plate & light moving onto the rear bumper.

It should be fairly cheap, mines just got done but had a load of other work done on it so I dont know exactly how much it cost me..... A normal flushed boot costs me £220, but the clio is so much easier to do, and should be a good bit cheaper!

Not sure if anyone does them? If you want it lower its gonna have to be coilovers.....
